Book Review: White Horse by Erika T. Wurth – An Indigenous Horror Novel for Spooky Season

It’s spooky season, which means I’m reaching for and recommending books that bring both chills and meaning. This year, I finally picked up White Horse by Erika T. Wurth, an Indigenous horror novel that blends haunting suspense with a powerful story of grief, kinship, and identity. I didn’t expect to be wrecked by the ending—or to see so much of my own experience reflected in Kari James, the unforgettable main character.
